It's hard to believe its already been 4+ months since I've had my son. You hear people say all the time that "Time fly's" but now that I am a mom its never been more true! I now live one baby nap and poop filled diapers at a time. As soon as my son's little peeping toms close and it's "lights out" I jump on my 'to-do' list. I value my time so much more now that I have a little human that is so dependent on me. I never would have imagined that I would become a mom during a pandemic. I've been fortunate enough to have started working from home early into Covid's outbreak and have continued to do so even now after my maternity leave is over and I'm back to work full time(working from home, of course).
During this pandemic other than becoming a mom I've really jumped into reselling fashion on Poshmark. It's actually been the one exciting thing I have been able to actively do while quarantined. It started with some spring cleaning which resulting in a death pile of clothes I no longer wore (and most still had tags!). I had designer purses that I hardly used just sitting in my closet collecting dust, so why not sell them?! Now I have nearly 200 items listed and I still get excited when I have a sale, head to the post office and sent it off to its new home.
I think it is safe to assume that 2020 has been a wild year for everyone but there has been some silver lining. I've seen friends open up new businesses, leave lifelong careers, and pursue their dreams! Although there has been many travesties this year, there's also been amazing things that have happened. I had my first child, have been able to work remotely, have stayed safely quarantined with my best friend, started blogging again, started a side business, re-aligned all my goals. Overall lessons were learned and I'm feeling extra blessed and look forward to more life as a mom, woman, boss & babe!
Stay tuned to follow more of my journey!
