It's that time......summertime magic!

Anyone who knows anyone in Seattle also knows that we have some of the best summers! When you think of summer time maybe the first thing that comes to mind are...Beaches? Boats & Hoes? Margaritas? I don't know, whatever floats your boat(literally and metaphorically speaking).

After a long 9 month stretch of gloom and rain (usually just enough precipitation to ruin your hair and plans), you tend to forget all about the not so pleasant things that come with the summer heat... titty sweat, struggles to find a comfortable cool spot at night while sticking to your sheets, chaffing, damn mosquitoes, that awful humidity that makes you feel like you got slapped in the face with a hot wet towel, etc. Depending on where you live, you might have to struggle with all of the above!

Luckily Seattle summers are different...on a "hot" day there's no humidity, high temps usually around 87 degrees-ish with a nice breeze to keep cool while tanning my disgustingly pale legs. As soon as the sun shines even a little bit, EVERYONE is out, drinking, socializing, just living their best life! It's a beautiful thing. Plus, Suns out = Buns out, what's not to love about that?!

The cherry on top of the near perfect weather are all the options for awesome food and hand crafted cocktails, many great rooftop and patio bars. Some of my favs near the downtown area are: The Nest, Frolik(inside the Motif Hotel), Some Random Bar(<---- that is its real name, google it, its great), Casco Antiguo, Bar Ciudad (in Georgetown)....there are far too many to list.

Not to mention all the beautiful bodies of water(Puget Sound, Lake Washington, etc) and mountain trails surrounding us! I truly hope all my fellow Seattlites(is that the term?) are just as excited for summer as I am, especially June, because PRIDE month! Yassss!

I wish you all a very sunny, fun, semi-safe filled day! xo
